FAQ - Tickets

How To Purchase Tickets?
• Online:
 Enjoy the convenience of purchasing individual tickets online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!  On each show page, click on the BUY TICKETS icon. All online purchases are subject to a $3 non-refundable service fee per ticket.

• In Person: Tickets can be purchased by coming in to our Advance Ticket office in person. There is no fee for walk-ins. We're open Mon - Fri, 10 am - 2 pm except holidays. The business office is located on the north side of the building. Ring the bell to the left of the glass doors for admittance.

• By Phone: Purchase tickets over the phone at (248) 541-6430, Mon – Fri, 10 am – 2 pm. VISA or MasterCard accepted. There is a $3 non-refundable service fee for the entire order.

Can I Exchange My Tickets?
Ticket exchange is an exclusive benefit for our season ticket subscribers. Season ticket subscribers may exchange their tickets for another date of the same show depending upon availability. Tickets purchased individually may not be exchanged.

Are Refunds Available?
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for individual tickets; all sales are final. Since we hate to see empty seats in our theatre, if your plans have changed, please consider donating the tickets back to Stagecrafters for reselling.

Do You Offer Any Discounted Tickets?

Not at this time.

Are Season Tickets Available?
Yes, and it’s the best deal we offer! Main Stage packages are available until September 28. 2nd Stage packages are available until October 12. Stagecrafters Youth Theatre packages are no longer available for this season.

What Are Season Ticket Benefits?
Besides the cost savings over buying individual tickets, our season ticket holders get to reserve the same seats for the entire season and can take advantage of our “no questions asked” exchange policy.

Do You Offer Gift Certificates?
Yes, we offer gift certificates in amounts corresponding to our ticket prices. Purchase them at our ticket office, or by phone at (248) 541-6430 during ticket office hours.

Do You Offer Group Rates?
Yes, please contact the office at (248) 541-6430 for discounted prices for groups of 20 or more.

Where Is The Box Office?
The box office is located on the south side of the theatre on the 5th Street pedestrian walkway. It opens one hour prior to each performance.

Are Tickets Still Available to Sold Out Performances?
If a show is sold out online, it really is sold out--the ticket office does not hold any tickets back from sale. Sometimes patrons turn in tickets at the box office at the performance and those become available for sale to anyone waiting to buy tickets at show time. We cannot by law sell Will Call tickets that have not been picked up.

Where Is Ticket Will Call?
Will Call tickets are held at the Box Office inside the theatre entrance (south side of the building on the 5th Street pedestrian walkway).

Can Lost Tickets Be Replaced?
Lost tickets can be reprinted.  Please call our business office at 248-541-6430.

How Can Someone Contact Me In An Emergency?
Please call (248) 541-1032 and our House Manager will attempt to contact the person you are trying to reach.

What Are The Office Hours?
Tickets are sold 10 am – 2 pm, Mon – Fri. Our business office is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm, except holidays.

Is The Baldwin Theatre Handicapped Accessible?
The Main auditorium on the first floor is handicapped accessible. We currently cannot accommodate wheelchair patrons in the 2nd Stage auditorium unless they can transfer into a seat. We do have an elevator. If a patron requires any additional assistance, please contact our office prior to the performance so that we may better accommodate his or her needs at the theatre.

Do You Have Devices for the Hard of Hearing?
Stagecrafters has an assisted listening system. Please check with a house manager about obtaining a headset using a valid photo ID.

Do You Have Lost and Found?
Yes, lost and found items will be kept at the business office. Please call 248-541-8027 between 10 am and 4 pm.

Where Are Restrooms and Drinking Fountains?
Restrooms are located on south side of the main lobby; the water fountain is on the north wall by the coat racks. Additional restrooms are also available on the mezzanine level.

Is Stagecrafters A Professional Theater?
Our performances are professional quality, however, all of the actors that you see on the Baldwin stage and the production teams behind the scenes are volunteers from local communities.

What Time Are Stagecrafters Performances?
Please see the individual show pages for curtain times.  Also note that there is no late seating for our 2nd Stage performances.

How Long Are Stagecrafters Performances?
Each performance and intermission differs depending on the show. Please visit the show page for show specific information.

Is Food Available At Performances? Do You Serve Alcohol?
Concessions are available in the lobby at intermission. We ask that food and beverages not be taken into the auditorium at any time. We do not serve alcohol.

Is Smoking Allowed?
No - the Baldwin Theatre is a smoke-free facility.

Can We Take Pictures?
All photography or recording devices are strictly prohibited during performances.

Can We Use Cell Phones?
For the enjoyment of all of our patrons, we ask that cell phones be turned off and pagers be silenced.  These devices may also interfere with our infrared listening assistance system.

Can My Child Sit On My Lap?
Every patron needs a ticket and a seat, regardless of age. We welcome children to the theatre, though be aware that not all shows are appropriate for children. Please check the show’s rating on the show page. We kindly ask that children attendees be at least 5 years of age (at least 4 years for youth shows). Please no babe in arms. What Happens If We Arrive Late?
For Main Stage and Youth Theatre performances, latecomers will be seated during appropriate pauses in the performance as a courtesy to other audience members.  For 2nd Stage performances, there is absolutely no late seating.

Are Performances Ever Cancelled?
Very rarely are shows cancelled.  Please check our website prior to the show if the weather is questionable.
