Parking near the Baldwin Theatre

Our area is going through some growing pains, as Baker College construction continues on the former site of Kinsey Garret Funeral Home directly across from the Baldwin Theatre. The structure is still open for parking, but please allow time for parking, and use the crosswalk to safely cross to our theatre.

The South Lafayette Garage across the street at 290 S. Lafayette Ave between Fifth and Sixth streets has a total of 451 parking spaces; 10 disability parking spaces are located on all levels by the elevators. There are also 2 spaces for electric cars.

Garage fees: The first 2 hours are free, with a charge of 75 cents per hour afterward. Free on Sundays and civic holidays.

Metered Parking:  Free before 11 AM. Meters are in effect between 11AM through midnight. All parking is free on Sundays and civic holidays.
