WHAT ARE / WHERE ARE ACCESSIBLE SEATS?

HOW TO RESERVE ACCESSIBLE WHEELCHAIR SEATING

You must reserve your seats in advance of your show date to insure we have space to accommodate everyone’s needs. You will be issued special tickets that will be available for pickup at the box office window on the date of your show. House managers will be alerted to your arrival. Please note that these seats are available only by calling 248.541-6430 or emailing tickets@stagecrafters.org.

Theatre Policies

Photography/Videography: Taking of photos or the use of any recording device during a performance is strictly prohibited.

Cellphones/Electronic Devices: Please silence all cellphones, pagers, and alarms. No texting or cellphone use during a performance. If you must use your cell phone, please leave the auditorium. Do not text during the show—the display is very visible in a dark theatre, and photos are not allowed.

Food, Drink & Smoking: There is no smoking (including e-cigarettes) inside the Baldwin Theatre. There may be herbal or e-cigarettes used on the stage as part of the performance.

Show Courtesy: For the enjoyment of all patrons and to avoid distracting actors onstage, please do not talk out loud or noisily unwrap food items during the show. Follow guidelines prohibiting cell phone use, and if you must use your cell phone, please leave the auditorium. Do not text during the performance—the display is very visible in a dark theatre. The house manager reserves the right to ask patrons who are causing a distraction or not following theatre policies to leave the auditorium.

Late Arrivals

MAIN STAGE & YOUTH THEATRE: After the performance has started, ticketholders will be seated at the discretion of the house manager so as not to disrupt the show.

2ND STAGE: Due to the intimacy of the theatre and the proximity of the stage to the seating area, there will be no late seating, as it is disruptive to the show. Doors are locked at show time. We are sorry, but we do not offer refunds due to late arrival. Please plan accordingly.

Show Ratings

We try our hardest to assign accurate ratings to shows. We ask that patrons who are unsure of the appropriateness of a show thoroughly research the show online before purchasing tickets.

Once tickets are purchased, we do not issue refunds based on any objections to show content.

  • G - General audience
  • PG - Parental guidance. May include some violence, mildly suggestive material, and mild profanity.
  • PG-13 - Parental guidance under 13. May include violence, adult situations, and profanity.
  • M - Mature. May include violence, profanity, sexual situations, drug/alcohol abuse, partial nudity, or mature content.

Children

YOUTH THEATRE: We consider most Stagecrafters Youth Theatre shows appropriate for children above the age of three, unless otherwise noted. Kindly leave children under age three at home. All children must have their own seat, even if they end up on laps J. Sorry, no babes in arms.

MAIN STAGE/2ND STAGE: Not all shows are suitable for children. Please check the show’s rating, and thoroughly research the show online before purchasing a ticket for your child, so you can make an informed decision. You may also call or email us, but we cannot advise you on the suitability of the show for your particular situation.

Show Cancellation

Should Stagecrafters have to cancel performances due to inclement weather, or for any other reason, we will make every effort to contact you as soon as the cancellation is official. We will email or call you, and we will post cancellations on Facebook. Please make sure we have accurate contact info for you. We will keep you posted on the next steps (rescheduled show, refunds, etc.) as soon as possible!
