In her mansion on Sunset Boulevard, faded silent-screen goddess Norma Desmond lives in a fantasy world and dreams of making a comeback. She enlists the help of Joe Gillis, a struggling screenwriter, with whom she falls in love. As Nora becomes ever more delusional and possessive of Joe, events spin out of control with tragic results. Based on the Billy Wilder classic film, the musical features Tony Award-winning music by famed composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.
