Are you a professional theatre?
We think our performances are professional quality, however, all of the actors that you see on the Baldwin Stage and the production teams behind the scenes are volunteers from local communities.
How do I purchase tickets to a performance?
Online. Enjoy the convenience of purchasing individual tickets online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! On each show page, simply click on the BUY TICKETS icon. All online purchases are subject to a service fee on a per ticket basis.
In person. Tickets can be purchased by coming in to our Advance Ticket office in person. There is not a fee for walk-in advance ticket purchase.
By phone. Purchasing over the phone at 248-541-6430. When purchasing tickets by phone, we will ask for your name, address, email address, phone number and for a credit card number. We accept Visa and MasterCard. There is a $3 non-refundable service fee for all phone orders.
At-the-door. The day of the show, the box office will open 1 hour prior to curtain time for walk-up sales for that performance only. Tickets purchased at the box office door will include an additional $2.00 fee.
What is your refund policy?
Sorry, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for individual tickets. All sales are final. Since we hate to see empty seats in our theatre, if your plans have changed, please consider donating the tickets back to Stagecrafters for reselling.
I’ve got a conflict…can I exchange my ticket for another date?
We know how unpredictable schedules can be however we cannot exchange tickets for individual purchases.
Ticket exchange is an exclusive benefit for our season ticket subscribers. Season ticket subscribers may exchange their tickets for another performance depending upon availability. One exchange per show. Please note that subscribers must surrender their original tickets by mail or in person. Exchanges are subject to availability: we’ll try to match your new seats to your original tickets, but cannot guarantee an exact switch.
How much do tickets cost to your performances?
Tickets cost depends on the venue.Main Stage, 2nd Stage and Youth Theatre shows all have different prices and are indicated on each show page. Below is a list of costs, all prices indicate “per ticket” price:
MAIN STAGE:
Musical
- Thursday = $18
- Friday and Saturday = $20
- Senior/Student Discount on Thursday and Sunday = $2 off ticket price
Non-musical (straight show)
- Thursday = $16
- Friday and Saturday = $18
- Senior/Student Discount on Thursday and Sunday = $2 off ticket price
2ND STAGE:
Musical
- Thursday = $16, student discount of HALF OFF = $8 (valid student ID required)
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday = $16
Non-musical (straight show)
- Thursday = $14, student discount of HALF OFF = $7 (valid student ID required)
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday = $12
YOUTH THEATRE:
- Youth (up to age 18) = $6
- Adult = $10
Do you offer season tickets?
Yes! And…it’s the best deal we offer! We offer season tickets for our Main Stage shows and for our 2nd Stage shows. There is not currently a package for the two Youth Theatre shows. Sorry, no refunds on season tickets.
Main Stage Season Tickets are $71 and $81 (depending on the performance date) for all five shows.
2nd Stage Season Tickets are $43 for all three shows.
Season ticketholders will receive all their tickets at one time by mail. The deadline for ordering Main Stage season tickets is October 1st and for 2nd Stage Season Tickets, the deadline is October 22nd. Please call 248-541-6430 for to order season tickets or go to our online season brochure.
A $3 service fee is included in the price of Season Tickets, 2nd Stage Packages and Flex Passes.
What are the benefits of buying season tickets?
Besides the cost savings over buying individual tickets, our season ticketholders get to reserve the same seats for the entire season and can take advantage of our “no questions asked” exchange policy (one exchange per show). Season ticketholders also receive the inside scoop on upcoming shows, special events and offerings via a patron newsletter.
Do you offer a Flex Pass?
Busy, huh? We know that schedules fill up quickly, so we offer a FLEX PASS which is good for three tickets to any of our Main Stage shows for only $55. You choose the show and the date and the number of tickets you want. Reservations are best made in advance but again, you get a savings over buying individual tickets. Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes, we offer gift certificates in all amounts and they can be purchased at our administrative office or by phone at 248-541-6430. We will either mail them to you or if it is a gift, we can mail them to the recipient. Stagecrafters’ gift certificates make a great gift for anniversaries, teachers, valued employees, or as a thank you!
Do you offer Group Rates?
Yes, please inquire at the office for discounted prices for groups of 20 or more.
Do you accommodate patrons with special needs?
If a patron requires any additional assistance, please contact our office prior to the performance so that we may better accommodate his or her needs at the theatre.
We are wheelchair accessible and offer an assisted listening system. Please check with a house manager about obtaining a headset using a valid photo ID.

What time does your box office open prior to a performance?
The box office, located on the South side of the theatre, opens one hour prior to each performance.
How do I know if a show is sold-out or if there are still tickets left?
Ahhh, you should have bought a season ticket! If it’s a weekday show, you can call the administrative office (248-541-6430) between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm to ask availability. If it is a weekend, you can call the box office one hour prior to the show at 248-541-6430.
What time does the show start?
Please see the individual shows for curtain times. Please note that there is no late seating for our 2nd Stage performances.
How long are the performances and will there be an intermission?
Each performance and intermission differs depending on the show. Please visit the show page for show specific information.
Is there food at the theatre?
Concessions are available in the lobby at intermission. We ask that food and beverages not be taken into the auditorium at any time.
Can I smoke in the theatre?
The Baldwin Theatre is a smoke-free facility.
Can I take pictures at your performances?
All photography or recording devices are strictly prohibited during performances.
I’m waiting for an important call, can I use my cell phone at the Baldwin?
For the enjoyment of all of our patrons, we ask that cell phones be turned off and pagers be silenced. These devices may also cause disruption with our infrared system.
Can I bring my child/infant and have him/her sit on my lap?
While we welcome children at the Baldwin Theatre, we ask that children be at least 3 years old to attend a performance. Children should be able to sit quietly in their own seats throughout a performance. Children unable to do so, along with the adult accompanying them, may be asked by an usher to leave the auditorium. All attendees at our performances require tickets for admission. Please use discretion in choosing to bring a child. Each show with adult content will have an AUDIENCE ADVISORY mentioned in the show information, or you may call our administrative office at 248-541-6430.
What if I’m late to a performance?
For Main Stage and Youth Theatre performances, latecomers will be seated during appropriate pauses in the performance as a courtesy to other audience members.
For 2nd Stage performances, there is absolutely no late seating.
What if I’ve lost my ticket?
Lost tickets can be reprinted. Please call our administrative office at 248-541-6430.
Are shows ever cancelled?
Very rarely are shows cancelled. Please check our website prior to the show if the weather is questionable.
Do you have a Lost and Found?
Yes, lost and found items will be kept at the administrative office. Please call 248-541-6430 if you feel that you’ve left something behind.
Where are your restrooms and water fountains located?
Restrooms and a water fountain are located on south wall of the main lobby. Additional restrooms are also available on the mezzanine level.
What if I need to contact someone at your performance because of an emergency?
Please call 248-541-1032 and our house manager will attempt to contact the person you are trying to get in touch with.
