Willkommen! Stagecrafters is proud to host this festive evening of Austrian sounds from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra String Quartet and traditional German tastes and libations from Detroit’s historic
The Dakota Inn Rathskeller.
The evening begins with a pre-glow in the Baldwin Theatre's lobby then settle in for the preview performance of “The Sound of Music.” At intermission, we'll be raffling off a sparkling set of 1 carat diamond earrings ($1,000 value) which have been generously donated by "The Sound of Music" show sponsor, Miner's Den Jewelers of Royal Oak. Raffle tickets will be on sale during the pre-glow. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Seating is limited.

Irresistible fun and song! Finally, a reason to burst into song during a musical and wear your favorite "Sound of Music" costume to the show! Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite character or item from The Sound of Music and join us as we sing along with the cast to some select songs from the classic stage production. So grab your dress, made from curtains of course, or your favorite lederhosen/dirndl for a special afternoon of ‘some of your favorite things.’ Tickets are $20 ea.
Celebrate opening nights!
A high-energy kickoff, Stagecrafters hosts a pre-glow celebration for each Main Stage and 2nd Stage opening night! The doors open at 7 pm to an array of select hors d’oeuvres and beverages. Anyone with a ticket to opening night can partake! Our 2012-2013 theme is “Made in the Mitten” with tasty treats made right here in Michigan.
