American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreted Performances
Since 1999, Stagecrafters has presented American Sign Language interpreted performances as its outreach and accessibility programming for the Deaf, hard of hearing and students of the ASL communities. Stagecrafters is proud to be one of a handful of community theatres across the nation who regularly utilize interpreters.
This year, we are thankful to Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs for their support of this program. With this support, we are able to provide the expertise and talent of local American Sign Language interpreters each season.
We have scheduled following shows for an interpreted performance in the 2008-09 season, based on funding:

Assisted Listening System
Stagecrafters provides an infrared assisted listening system for our hearing-impaired patrons. If you need assistance in hearing our productions, please see the house manager for a headset. There is no charge for this service, but ID is required.
Wheelchair Accessible
Stagecrafters is a barrier-free facility with wheelchair access ramps, reserved wheelchair seating and handicapped accessible restrooms.
