General Notes
Stagecrafters is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization based at the Baldwin Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan. This coming year, more than 200 cast members of all ages and from across Southeastern Michigan will take to the stage to the delight and applause of their friends, families, neighbors and community! Stagecrafters performances have delighted and amazed audiences for more than five decades.
Stagecrafters is an equal opportunity organization. We recruit, employ, train, compensate, and promote without regard to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, veteran status, or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
Individuals cast in the adult productions will be required to pay either a $25 rehearsal fee or $45 ($35 after January 1st) to become a member of Stagecrafters through June 30, 2011. For further information on becoming a member of Stagecrafters, please call (248) 541-8027. Membership information will be mailed to you.
Anyone under the age of 18 wishing to audition for an adult production must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who will sign the audition form acknowledging their support of their child's participation in the production and authorizing the use of the child's photograph for publicity purposes.
Youth Theatre auditions are for youths, age 8 - 18 (not yet graduated from high school) at the time of auditions, no exceptions.
PLEASE DO NOT bring infants or toddlers to auditions. It can be very distracting to those who are auditioning.
AUDITION MATERIALS: Audition materials for adult productions will be available for a 3-day check-out from the Business Office- open 10 am - 4 pm, Mon. - Fri. Call for availability at (248) 541-8027.
TICKET OFFICE HOURS: 10 am - 4 pm, Mon. - Fri. and Thurs. evening from 7-9 pm.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: A rehearsal schedule will be available at auditions. Please bring all conflicts with you to auditions.
