By Tom Stoppard
Part history, part mystery, this modern masterpiece moves seamlessly between the 19th and 20th century. A centuries-old scandal at the Coverly family estate in rural New England has modern-day descendants and a group of academic adversaries at odds over what really happened. Each person’s interpretation of the family intrigue is colored by his or her own desires, passions and professional rivalries. Arcadia explores the nature of truth, temperaments, and life’s disruptive influences.
